The Department of Posts is advancing an initiative to establish a standardized, geo-coded addressing system in India, for ensuring simplified addressing solutions for citizen-centric delivery of public and private services. In this regard, the Department had collaborated with IIT Hyderabad for developing a National Addressing Grid, named as Digital Postal Index Number (DIGIPIN). This system will act as a strong and robust pillar of Geospatial Governance, leading to enhancements in public service delivery, faster emergency response and a significant boost to logistics efficiency.

The DIGIPIN layer will act as the addressing reference system which can be used for logically locating addresses with directional properties built into it due to the logical naming pattern followed in its construction.

The DIGIPIN is proposed to be fully available in the public domain and can be easily accessed by everyone. The DIGIPIN Grid system being an addressing referencing system, can be used as the base layer for other ecosystems, including various service providers and utilities, where addressing is one of the processes in the workflow.

This system will act as a strong and robust pillar of Geospatial Governance, leading to enhancements in public service delivery, faster emergency response and a significant boost to logistics efficiency.

The advent of DIGIPIN will mark a revolutionary step in India’s journey towards digital transformation by bridging the crucial gap between physical locations and their digital representation.

The Department has released a beta version of National Addressing Grid ‘DIGIPIN’ on 19.07.2024 for public feedback, the details of which may be accessed through the India Post website: https://www.indiapost.gov.in/vas/Pages/digipin.aspx

The Department of Post in collaboration with MyGov cordially invites you to explore the beta platform and provide constructive feedback, which will help in fine tuning the specifications of the DIGIPIN.

Fully system को regular and daily working mode में करो । Neither holiday Nor sunday for daily system working but working day for employees 5 days in a week for employees ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों को नौकरी दो। चाहे staffs कितना भी लगाना पड़े या artificial intelligence और computer technology based बनाओं। अब सभी भारतीयों को रोजगार मिलेगा और कोई बेरोजगार नहीं रहेगा। 24 घंटे police, security services के लिए ज्यादा से ज्यादा force की भर्ती करो। ज्यादा से ज्यादा staffs and employees की भर्ती करो ताकि system daily possible active हो सकें System daily active रहना चाहिए। जैसे Bank and medical में sunday को छुट्टी रहती है या किसी festivals पर छुट्टी रहती है अब से सब change करके system में कभी छुट्टी न हो, ऐसा possible करों। Economy of India will growth fastest in global economy

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided at Krishna Nagar HO on Today, 09- Aug -2024 . My mother, Mrs. Pushpa Dhiman, a senior citizen aged 77, arrived at the branch at 2:30 PM and obtained a token. Despite waiting for an hour, she was informed by a representative that if her number was not called by the end of the day, she would have to return the following day. I understand that there may be unforeseen circumstances that can lead to delays in service, but I believe that it is unacceptable for a senior citizen to be made to wait for such an extended period of time without any resolution or assistance. I kindly request that you look into this matter and take appropriate measures to ensure that such situations do not occur in the future. I would appreciate a prompt response to this complaint. digipin digital data at as pin accuracy India is diverse in nature so if pin point that Dversity as Indentity mark it's help in multiple ways - to protect are cultural ancient along with modern touch at any place u will find somehow to show pin location so it will also mention on digital record or also can be put in as cyber safty way then to mention that now woman are contribute their work efficiency so as saftey mark location or even travel alone also can mention the location means indirectly cn take help of such digital surfing business perspectives exact proper & precise address or other ways to correspondence Location in Mention will savev time , or in case of non availability can mention nearby location with safe guard so help indirectly trust duty ground

When I tested the Beta version, the Address kept changing ( the last four levels changing from 2W6X to 2XLM mentioning horizontal accuracy fluctuating between 13 m and 14 m and 15 m, even though the mobile wasn’t moved and inch (the exact same address [location]) This is not in conformity with the specification of accuracy of 4m x 4m units; Secondly, the fact that even the Level 8 digit of the DIGIPIN for the very same level is different ( in my case from W to X ), the accuracy level is 4 kilometers (4x4x4) times 4 metres which is 256 metres! So whereas each address firstly claims to be accuracy of between 13 to 15 metres, the two different addresses for the SAME location itself have a spread of 256 metres apart! Enclosed are the samples snapshots collected. However another observation is that it consistently switched ONLY between these two DIGIPINS having the last four digits mentioned above at different times over different days!
