Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, in Karnataka State has been selected by the Ministry of Urban Development as one of the 100 smart cities to participate in the “Smart City” Challenge Stage-2 by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India.

The draft proposal has covered almost all requirements of a Smart City. Along with providing new such facilities, there should also be good governance and maintenance of the same throughout the twin city.

Please give utmost importance to cleanliness. Avoid littering and usage of plastics. Government offices must work smartly. Make arrangement for e-governance/online submission of documents in government offices so that people should not waste their time in getting any documents.

Excellent lets hope the best Hubballi Dharwad will be in top 20 ist phase and lets all work towards building Hubballi Dharwad a smart city
