Employability of our students is a matter of concern. At the other end of the spectrum is need for greater investment in research. Industry academia linkages are essential to meet both these ends. While we have various efforts in this direction, these have not fructified as expected. We need to find out how and what is needed for a more fruitful partnering.

industrial training is a matter of concern. i am from engineering background and know its a headache to find a training which could teach you..give you hands-on exp. first, finding a chance for training in industry is a problerm as approah is required. Second,if they allow you ,they charge you fees. and if you will get into training, you hardly get anything to learn. But if this is sorted out, n explorec the time properly, it will be really helpful.

Adarniya Pradhan Mantriji, Given a mandate to collaborate with all stakeholders (government, academia, vocational institutions, industry trade bodies and student community), my solutions approach will examine: (1) What caused past failures? To move forward, it helps to look backward. (2) What is the current state of play? We must be doing at least a few things right; and we need to incentivize good behaviors. (3) What are the top five hurdles to success? With this I start. C. Rao Vemuganti

On successful completion of basic 10+2 education, students aspire for employment related education. A small percentage succeed in getting admission in engg, medical and architecture streams. Vast majority join myriad streams of commerce, arts and sciences for graduating in a 3 year degree. Suggest that each industry adopt 1 or 2 districts and impart requisite training for a period of 3 years including floor experience of 1 year after which students could be employed.

Education and Employ 'ability' both these are practically different words with different meaning in all dimensions. Education in India is still 180 degrees away from employment skills. For which we should have a stream of study termed as "JOB Ready Education" This could not be done by the government alone, private people partnerships on a 6 dimension phase will have to be executed. the 6 dimensions are Educational caliber, Attitude, Physical Fitness, mental fitness and......

In aided colleges equal importance should be given to MBA+b.com +UGCqualify candidates in selection of assistant professor.but unfortunately due to UGC policy and rules and regulation of universities above qualified people r considered ineligible. So More preference should be given to MBA(finance specialization)+net qualify candidates rather than M.com+net qualify

Faculty having 4-5years of experience in education and having industrial experience at managerial level should be given preference in the appointment of assistant professor. So that young graduates should be benefitted .they can be explored more by faculty having industrial experience because faculty having industrial experience can give more practical knowledge .they can developed skilled graduates as compare to faculty having only academic experience.

Specifically in commerce steam and other professional courses ,selection of faculty should be on the basis of his or her talent not on the basis of API score. Preference should be given to those having industrial experience. Presently in aided colleges MBA + UGC net qualify +industrial experience are considered ineligible. So for regular appointment of assistant professor specifically to teach b.com,BBA and m.com students , well qualified faculty having industrial experience should be given pref

every year nearly lakhs of people are qualifing as soft ware engineers.they have graduation certificate which represents they have enough knowlegde in computer science.....ETC sectors but the software companies are giving considerable training of atleast 3 months for freshers, that means they are giving no value to this certificate. then why should a student should study for all the 20 years, in my opinion, after completing +2 why certain software companies provide training to students
