In my opinion, Plastic should be banned with alternatives, Plastic bottles can be recycled with Pfand system. With this System, no one is encouraged to through plastics on the roads or to burn them. Please go through this documentation for more details.

Environment problems and related health risks caused by the use of plastic carry bags are now known to all. It is an issue across the nation, irrespective of the fact whether urban or rural. Therefore, steps have to be taken to completely stop its production and use, throughout the country in a gradual manner. Similarly, we should also work systematically on a negative list of industries that should not be promoted because of serious environmental and health issues.

in india fine is not a big deal for people...first part is that carry bag cups plates are not a problem. in other way if you use paper allied bags n cup its same. first we have to imoprove our groud structure need dustbin to on every 100 to 200 meter on street park resisendce place , public place so people will use it and daily they hv to clean by local authority of cleaning... in sample way people way use dustbin and then recycle the waste like bottles paper etc..
bcoz ban plastic is not easy

Make the companies selling Plastic Packaged Food responsible for collecting it also. Sell the Plastic wrapped items at a premium of say 5 rupees. Let the consumer return it the Store to get a refund of the premium. The collection center of the Company can then collect this and refund the Storekeeper. Also ban carrying of Plastic wrapped food items/ plastics outside the main market areas of hill stations/ religious places/ tourist stations. Encourage use of Glass/plastic bottles for selling Milk

1. We should ban plastic bags across the country. It's not that easy, so first we should bring the alternative solution first in place so that the people can gradually make use of the alternative solution and consequently get rid of plastic bags. The alternative solution is to encourage the usage of solid paper bags.
2. If we cannot avoid using plastic bags then we should definitely think of using the used plastic bags, for example use them to pave plastic roads.so pollution won't happen.

sir its difficult but not a impossible task to remove plastic bag from the market. We have to change our habbit like we should carry a jute bag for shopping . I know its easy to say but we have no choice . There should be a abhiyan like clean India green India. It should be at national level .l think it should be start from school and college . we have to take initiative together to fight with this major problem. It is not a single problem but cause of so many other dangerous problems.

It is a fact that plastic cannot be eradicated completely...there could be number of reasons. But instead of banning plastic why not separate it from the daily garbage. It is been heard that BIO-DIESEL can be made from plastic. If we create awareness in people regarding use of plastic only when necessary and how to dispose it separately in daily garbage, people will definitely participate. In this campaign, we will require government assistance in providing partition for dry and wet garbage.
