The Government of India intends to introduce the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in the country at the earliest. GST seeks to subsume many indirect taxes at the Central and State level. The proposed dual GST envisages taxation of the same taxable event, i.e., supply of goods and services, simultaneously by both the Centre and the States.

The Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Second Amendment) Bill, 2014, has been introduced in the Parliament for facilitating the introduction of GST in the country. Simultaneously, committees comprising of officers from the Central Government, as well as the State Governments, have been constituted for the drafting of Model CGST, SGST and IGST laws, and GST business processes of registration, refunds, returns and payments.

The draft Model CGST, SGST and IGST laws, along with GST business processes for filing of returns, shall be put up for inviting comments of stakeholders in due course. Presently, the draft business processes on GST registration, GST refunds and GST payments are being published.

The Report of the Committee on GST Registration is available here. Comments and views are invited on these business processes by 31st October, 2015. Users are requested to keep in mind the guidelines for posting their comments:

Instead of all these difficulties introduce SINGLE TRANSACTION TAX & entrust banks to collect this from each transaction. Currency notes must be withdrawn from circulation. Now honest tax payers & deductors are humiliating, harasssing, punishing with unjustifiable,non-practical laws & corruption is in full swing.Same time tax evaders, corrupt officials, fake&black money is abundant? This is a burden for real tax payers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Real tax payers are harassing, humiliate, punish,by the officials.Tax evaders r free from all these difficulties.Even nearing 2 years in rule NO TAX REFORMS.WHY THIS FINANCE MINISTRY? FOR WHAT? TAX EVASION,BLACK MONEY,FAKE CURRENCY, CORRUPTION IS EVERY nook&corner of the country.Officials & Govt honest tax payers & deductors with their's own tax money?

Dear Finance Minister / secretary Please do mandatory issue of bill even from General store.or sale of Rs.10/- Huges taxe revisions by trading community. Compulsory e-tedering procurement in pvt sector more than 1 crore turnover. Huges difference input /output norms. More corruption in private sector than Govt sector. All CA should be empenaled at govt. And private company's audit should rotate every financial year. Dual audit provision then Income Tax audit. Do audit mandatory co.act.

#GSTReg PAN based registration is not gud idea becoz lots of error in IT depart also n should rectify. if we introduce any new policy on error based old policy then we will not get 100% result of our new policy. govt thinks it again. I m totally disagree with it

AADHAR no to be made mandatory so that every detail of the concerned invidual is into the fold. Also data is already available instead of capturing once again with other collection of data from the individuals. This may lead to mis representations and people take it advantage of producing duplicate or false information. As most of the places are with AADHAR connected, drag the data and link to all the departments.

#GSTReg Registration should not start from scratch .... the database of VAT should be used instead of creating and generating new database ... even the VAT registration number should be used for number of registering the person for #GST
