I don`t understand how it is possible for big assesse to upload invoice wise data in return. The idea may not be practical. Please make returns simple without asking much data. We need to increase compliance level and not tax consultants.

Whole purpose of GST is to make ease of doing business in India. However after reading GST report on payments, registration, refunds and return it appear that introduction of GST will not able to achieve the desire results. From reports of Government babus (State & Centre) it appears that GST will make life of trade and industry more difficult. There is need to change the mindset of our Government babus who are not willing to come out of inspector raj.

GST is very big project after many indirect taxes subsume in the GST, Govt. need good infrastructure to enable various tax payers & stakeholders to access the on line portal.(Presently system collapsed due to congestion. Today Site of CBES is not working, while last date is 25th October) after GST No. of users may be many fold so my humble request is to make the Infrastructure commensurate with the No. of users.

In respect of GST Act, all the invoices should be issued compulsory computerized and punched with the department site. further, all the invoices have barcode series and it should be verified through bar code scanner in the transit at border (like chungi post) by the officers. Return should be online either with digital signature or with electronic code mechanism. It is no need of central GST and State GST and the rate of GST shall below 20%. However, the government revenue will rise than before.

#GSTReturnsForms Filing of monthly returns and multiple returns will trouble small tax payers which form majority in India. It will increase their costs of tax compliance. The current system requires quarterly returns for VAT and Half yearly returns for Service Tax. ALL GST Returns should be made Quarterly and atleast 25 days days time should be allowed after the end of quarter. A single return should be formulated instead of multiple returns. Kindly allow people some time to do business as well

#gstreturns All gst registration should be compulsory linked to PAN no. And there should be a common platform for the submission of all kinds of returns. This will ensure lots of malpractice in taxes.

Suggestions for Simpler GST-1)Compulsory single pan India registration will reduce the cost and compliance load for the Department and Assessee;2)Quarterly or six monthly returns would also suffice and reduce unnecessary compliance burden of Assessee and will save a lot of data integration time and cost of Department;3)Revised returns should be allowed for human errors;4)Tax items @ 0% instead of making items exempt for ITC eligibility;5)Allow ITC utilisation on CG w/o year 1 & 2 restrictions
