Incease production, improve quality, introduce varity in products, and make it available in foreign markets at lower price tags initially. And also by making a web portal by which any customer can customise his materials and the portal calculates the fesiblity, time of production and allotment of job to wevers with required patterns and material. Such that all silk manufactured is taken by the people connected with the portal and distributted by them to weavers who are compitent to complet it.

Indian silk can be graded based on quality and branded for international clothing companies. Quality assurance and grading will go on to establish name for silk used as raw material. It will also arouse interest of international designers. If western wear and innovative designs are promoted in silk, huge foreign demand can also be generated.

Silk should not be confined just to females. Male clothing lines and designer products should be introduced under a new brand. Secondly demand for silk is higher for occasions such as weddings. Letting Fashion campuses like NIFT do special Live projects for silk in western wear and introducing those designs on e-commerce as well as social media platforms can increase the interest in silk and its usage.

social justice - word/ logic is abused. in the name of social justice vindictive politics is played against upper class, particularly economically backward upper class though they are high merit.they should never feel accused for some thing practiced by their ancester generations. you can not convert a tribal / or some one in to a scientist over night by reservation. merit has to be respected for genuine growth.

Less demand of indian silk is due to low production due to costly row material and. Old technology. We require to modernise the idustry and increase the use of new machine. After that we have to approach farmer to start to produce silk. That will help to increase revenue of farmer and their lifestyle. Also that leads to easily availibity of row material. After that marketing is must thing. Start advertising internationaly and nationaly by t.v. channel by government it self and show the quality
