Silk, the Queen of textiles, is adored by all for its sheer sheen, luster, elegance, class and comfort. It has several natural properties like natural sheen, inherent affinity for dyes and vibrant colours, light weight, resilience and excellent drape etc. which makes it distinct from all other fibers both natural and man-made. Though silk products are consumed more by urban rich, its production is highly employment oriented, low capital intensive and remunerative that churns out value added products of economic importance, especially the rural people.

India is the second largest producer of silk in the world and the silk industry provides employment to about 7.8 million people in the rural and semi-urban areas in the country. The women participation in various activities in silk value chain is about 54%. The silk always attracts competition from synthetic fibers, though which look like silk.

It is believed that the weaving of Varanasi saree gained prominence during the Mughal rule. The traditional Varanasi handloom is exclusively known for its handwork of traditional weavers who developed the Varanasi Saree brand which is much sought for its intricacies, art and aesthetics.

Varanasi Handloom Products, made from fine silk are in big demand in India as well as abroad. Specially, the famous Varanasi hand-woven saree, since the ancient (Vedic) times, is ranked among the finest traditional sarees of India.

Use a tag line like... "Naturally, natural is best" and highlight the process and quality of natural silk fabric. Marketing it as eco- friendly, organic and best for the body is key.

Why can the garbage collected be used to get alternate energy source? I understand that at Sangamner in Maharashtra is a plant to produce electricity using the garbage. In some places, garbage is used for Gobar Gas plants to produce domestic cooking gas. But larger corporations appear to keep fighting for the dumping grounds for garbage. Can it even change?

We should give an order to all the Govt.Offices, Hospitals and Private Offices to wear the silk dresses weekly once i.e. every monday and and should also sell the silk products through out the Post Offices, and some outlets to improve in India. IN the same way some joint ventures with foreign companies to increase demand in overseas also.

माननीय मोदी जी, आपने सार्क सम्मेलन में जो कूटनीति दिखाई वो सराहनीय है शरीफ साहब से ४० सेकंड का हैंड शेक पूरे पाक में ही नही बल्कि पूरे विश्व में संदेश दिया कि भारत के नेतृत्व में पूरी शक्ति है। पाकिस्तान में जमूरियत बहुत कमजोर है वहाँ की सरकार में भारत जैसी नहीं है।अत:वहाँ लोकतंत्र मजबूत बनाने के लिए एक अच्छे पडोसी के नाते आप को दक्षिण एशियाई देशों की शांति हेतु पाक की अवाम में भी आपकी लोकप्रियथा की पैठ बनानी पडेगी।पाक सरकार वजनता को आर्थिक'सामाजिक,औद्योगिक,शिक्षा,निर्यात क्षेत्र में पैकेज दें। ताकि फौजी व आतंकी पकड कमजोर हो और नवाज जी को भी मदद हो।साथ ही सभी पाक कैदियों को रिहा कर दे उन्हें अपनेदेश में १माह से जादा न रखने का नियम बना दे। पाक प्रघान मंत्री से रोज बात करे ताकि अंदरूनी ताकते कमजोर हो। क्षेत्र में शांति

Dear Prime Minister, Sir please cancel KYC Reserve Banking System, because the poor persons suffers lot. They can not renew their accounts again & again withn 06 to 12 months. long route train should be attached more general bogie or allow short distance passenger to travel in sleeper bogie. as on today T. C. allow but taking bribe Rs 30 each ticket. we are ready to pay officially extra surcharge directly to government but it should be 10 to 15 Rs. only. its helpful to increase income. Make compulsion to other tourist to use sleeper seat in only sleeping time This timing should be display in all bogies. decide short distance KM & add extra charge to travel in sleeper
