Basically the issue of development of such sector requires intervention by government for:
(1) standardisation of product processes
(2) standardisation of quality and certification agency
(3) mechanism to monitor the quality and the Quality mark given, so that people can trust that product.
(4) create standard products and design and get it produced from the artisans, so that it can be marketed in large quantity.
(5) propagate brands

We see many ATM's in cities @every 100mtr with different Banks, now RBI has restricted to 5 transactions,I don't know, what is the purpose and benefit to the Banks or to the Governments. What Iam suggesting is that,All Banks should make One ATM ,which must consist of cash deposit facility,One machine and many benefits to the People, then, people can access 24X7 and RBI must remove the transaction limit and all Banks can save the Space,Security,Manpower and can reduce the loan interest. >less...

Silk products: Barbie dolls have always been a fab with children. An indian doll should be released in to market adorned with garments made of Indian textiles viz. silk, cotton, khadi depicting our cultural diversity. The packaging of dolls should describe their name, represented culture such as south indian or north indian, garment manufacturer etc. Such dolls would be appreciated abroad as they would depict Indian culture and would be equally loved in our country.

By putting silk to various uses- NOT only traditional uses which we already know such as Saree, kurta etc but also researching the world on what use we can adapt according to our customers for example if in Japan they have a traditional dress lets offer that product in Silk to Japanese Tourists and let's do more research and further develop silk into other varieties and forms to make additional products and uses out of it. Have competition to create other uses from silk- promote innovation.

Non-Planned expenditure is usually the culprit to increase the deficit. Can we not make it 100% Cashless? It shall also help in average citizens from rural area to opt for Jana Dhana Yojana, if not opted so far.

We keep comparing our conditions with other nations, including the USA. But in USA, if a government employee takes an undue step, average citizen can sue him for damages. In India, we have a law protecting the government employees and citizens need a permission for taking them to court. If this law is revoked and brought in line with the US law, government employees shall be answerable for their actions to the citizens, which shall automatically bring Fiscal discipline.
