C-DAC, under the guidance of The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and valuable support from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), is leading the development of digital standards for Indian languages to enable their seamless integration with the internet and emerging technologies.

As part of this effort, the “AKSHAR Document” series has been envisaged to define Coded Character Sets and Composition Rules for scheduled Indian languages. The aforesaid draft standard defines the character repertoire for Hindi, ABNF rules for permissible character combinations, and provides a reference implementation for validation.

This document will form the foundation for ensuring consistency, accuracy, and interoperability in the digital processing of Indian scripts across platforms and applications.

The document has been published by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for public consultation and is open for comments until 21st September, 2025.

दुनिया की सबसे अच्छी भाषा हिंदी भाषा है बोलचाल भाषा जन्म से लेकर मृत्यु तक बोली जाने वाली भाषा हिंदी भाषा मातृभाषा हिंदी भाषा में एक शब्द की कई अर्थ होते विलोम और पर्यायवाची जल समुद्र सूर्य चंद्र पृथ्वी कैसे कई शब्द है विलोम शब्द पर्यायवाची शब्द और सबसे सरल भाषा हिंदी भाषा जन्मो जन्मो से हिंदी भाषा हिंदी और संस्कृत की व्याकरण एक जैसी है हिंदी भाषा में ही युगो युगो से चली आ रही भाषा जो हमारे पूर्वज और हमारे ईश्वर भी हिंदी भाषा का प्रयोग किया करते जिससे कई वैज्ञानिक

The standard must focus on compatibility with Unicode and other global standards so that text is readable without errors across devices and software. 4. Accessibility features should be integrated, ensuring that persons with disabilities can also type and read Hindi easily. 5. A strong focus should be on future readiness – AI, voice recognition, and machine translation systems should easily integrate with the standard.

नमस्ते, यह मानक बनाने की कोशिश बहुत ही अच्छी है। मेरा सुझाव है कि हमें दो बातों का ध्यान रखना चाहिए: पहला, यह मानक हिंदी को डिजिटल दुनिया में आसान बनाए (जैसे मोबाइल, कंप्यूटर, और AI में)। दूसरा, यह भी देखना चाहिए कि यह मानक हिंदी के सही व्याकरण और शब्दों का भी ध्यान रखे। इससे हमारी हिंदी भाषा साफ और शुद्ध बनी रहेगी। अगर हम इन दोनों चीजों को साथ लेकर चलें, तो हिंदी आने वाले समय में और मजबूत होगी।
