Every Diwali, someone’s artistry glows on our clothes, someone’s pottery lightens up our home and someone becomes an important part of the celebration. Their contribution to our happiness is immense. As urged by PM Narendra Modi, in Mann Ki Baat, let’s bring a smile to those faces and spread the joy with people who are an integral part of our celebration. Have you brightened-up someone’s Diwali? Tell us your story through pictures, videos or text.

Diwali, one of the most significant Hindu festivals of light, knowledge and good nature, is being celebrated across the world. It is a five-day event also known as Deepavali by Jains, Hindus and Sikh, which acknowledges the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.

Happy Diwali to all. My celebration was not grand as I was lonely in Riyadh but was remarkable for some as i distributed indian sweets in my work place, which make some of my Filipino friends happy and smile on others as they like indian sweets and desperately eagerly waiting to are. Thanks to lulu market who makes indian sweets during festival season.
