A conducive policy landscape to stimulate investments and skill development for entrepreneurship leads to economic growth & employment generation in India where employment is largely informal (92%). A Sector Skill Council of NSDC could be the appropriate institution to promote this with active support from Ministry of MSME. This Council would facilitate quality training for budding entrepreneurs.

I wish to propose the old Guru-Sisya style of learning of vocational skills, class system should be abolished and batch of 7 students should be inducted to the master who will impart in few weeks all theory, application and training, then assess and recommend him to master of new module. constant counseling about direction of his growth and job available to him, plenty of unemployed engineering and management degree holders are roaming, let them turn in teachers.

HELLO FRIEDS pL.VISIT:http://letscareforeducation.blogspot.in/ I HAVE A DREAM, THAT A DAY WOULD COME, WHEN EVERY LEARNER WOULD BE CHERISHED, CREATIVITY WOULD BE WORSHIPED, INNOVATIONS WOULD NOT BE ON THE PAGES OF HISTORY, IMAGINATION WOULD ENCIRCLE THE GALAXY, EVERY DREAM WOULD BE FULFILLED, EVERY FRONTIERS WOULD BE CONQUERED, IDEAS WOULD WORTH TO LIVE AND DIE FOR AND THE STRONGEST WEAPON FOR WHICH A COUNTRY WOULD BE KNOWN WILL BE ITS EDUCATION AND NOT THE NUCLEAR WEAPON!

This is really very important task, and if closely observed every children is gifted with certain skills, and if given opportunity at school level to interact with machinery, tools etc. it would immensely increase there competence. Local small industries could be contacted, some regular workshops should be organized not necessarily in school. Even a village meet type of event along with school children, local people and vocational trainers would aware all.

The so called literate youth are unemployable after Graduation. It is time to change the trend. Bring in Vocational Training Universities in place of our current sub standard mushroom of Universities.Stop the Grants.Work for creating productive youth through training for vocations imparted, which will help the student and the govt benefit from its expenditure on education. Change is long overdue.Only the best brains should go to the universities, on their own expenditure, based on merit.

Please note that Vocational education is the urgent need of the hour, as PM Modi has rightly stated. The UGC has become outdated and is wasting its funds on universities which churn out students not employable in any industry / service. Divert money towards opening Vocational Universities, if required with help from foreign collaborations.Govt money spent graduates is useless, and so is their quota system. Universities should maintain their standard and be merit based.Ban sub standard universities

Vocational education is must for school students. this helps them to improve their communication skills, they come to know the result of hardwork, gain confidence and it helps in building their future in a more positive manner. Additionally vocational training may help them find what they want to do in fututre.

most of labour mistri come to city from rural areas. They avoid the academic education for economical problems. It's better give them vocational training after class 5th or 6th. When they will look earning opportunity, they will be interested and will become skilled professional.
