The home to home garbage collection is failing as safayi karmacharis mix all types of garbage together during collection. The solution is to provide volume based monetary incentives for karmacharis for dumping plastics to recycling plants and kitchen leftovers to manure producing plants. Money is a big attraction and if implemented these karmacharis would force unwilling citizens to separate garbage at source. Also, penalize karmacharis if garbage is mixed!

If we want to clean urban areas then dustbins should be available at the public places like parks, beaches etc. for every 100 mtrs distance and for roads this distance can be 400 mtrs. Now a day I dont want to throw waste on roads and I dont but the problem of unavailability of dustbin I do face many times.

The flush system of toilet is the most unhygienic system ever concieved. It is just not suitable for modern cities that are expanding at a fast pace. The best way to clean human waste is pit composting. We should go back to re-designing the toilets to cater to a large city. Most of the time the STP are out of order, cannot be scaled, overwhelmed in the rains and take a long to develop. So my earnest request - go back to the Indian way and discard the flush to STP to river system.

Respected Sir, Thank you for igniting our minds for Swachh Bharat. Many a times I observed that the people try to find dust/disposal bean before throwing any waste on the road/public premises. But unfortunately either they are not kept or if kept they are not i sufficient numbers to meet the demand. I think, we must provide such facilities to keep India clean. Such facilities can be created with the help of citizens, storekeeper, corporate and public sector enterprises.

Hello Sir, Just want to highlight that dustbins on road must be available within range of 500 meters. This will some how force people to throw the garbage at appropriate place. If you see even on good cities dustbins are rarely available and 1-2 available which are not properly cleaned. These are small-2 things that can create lot of awareness. When i need to throw something and i can't found dustbin, i got irritated and throw somewhere on road and blame our govt. we don't want to blame any1.

Respected Sir, Regarding Swacha Bharat, Municipality employees (Class D) in all cities not putting their effort. You can see the CC TV footages of cities in a secrete way, how they are working and how much time they work and how much salary they are taking. As per me they are working from 7 am to 9 am after that they are doing their business or some other private job. This is the one of the main reason for hygienic.

Govt. should ask the local police to take responsibility of clean and safe environment. like in any other country, if road is damaged or garbage is not cleared any issues affects public, first person to complaint to the respective dept. ensures safe environment to public is police. police not only law and order, main responsibility is safe public form hurdles. even 60 years of independent, still bad roads unhealthy living, empower police action against govt. officials not doing duty qualitatively
