We Indians always reactive in nature and don't ACT when its required. All govt & private agencies should work together on few/major ghats and provide separate place adjacent to river flow for bathing & other purpose. Provide adequate toilets outside at major ghats where people turnout if max. Strict rules & high fines/penalty for violating of law by throwing items in the river.

As the project is going in full swing. Govt should give this project to 100 top corporate houses to actively involve as part of CSR. NGOS should be involved, NSS, Schools & Colleges across India as part of summer project students to be involved. Major marketing campaign show casing the survival of Ganga...if we keep spoiling the mother Ganga. Hoardings across all the ghats and showcasing NO Ganga water by 2025 and people can't do there KRIYAs for there ancestors..if we keep spoiling the Ganga..

Releasing ganga water to increase its flow will not clean it by waste flushing method. Since, people connect them selves for their different use and purpose from all corners of world and perform all kinds of activity. For all known use, the whole of Ganges water, is not needed by people ,collecting, facts and Figures, to prevent g-water going dirty, small but effective modules can be developed around ghats for their daily use, without disturbing their ecology, spirituality faith etc.

rivers are our asset....this is our duty to keep them clean.I as a normal citizen when see they are becoming polluted day by day i feel so bad.Sir, in my state, Tripura there is one of the famous rivers called Hawrah river.Over thousands of families are dependent on this for water. But it's really very sad to inform you that it is getting polluted day by day.People are throwing garages in the river, you can find out from the images which i am sending you with this file.

Read the news that donations to clean ganga fund will be exempt under Sec 80G only for residents. Suggest include NRIs in making this concession available so NRIs can contribute out of their India income and be eligible to get the same concession under 80G as residents. May attract more funds to this nationally important project
