Research and Development: The institute could conduct research and development activities related to foreign trade, contributing to the advancement of the field and providing valuable insights for businesses and government organizations. Support for the Economy: By strengthening the foreign trade sector in India, IIFT could have a positive impact on the country's economy, creating new opportunities for businesses and increasing exports.

Enactment: Once the bill is passed by both houses of the Indian Parliament and receives Presidential assent, it becomes a law and the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will be established. Appointing Authority: The central government will appoint the governing body of IIFT, which will have the authority to oversee the administration of the institute. Infrastructure Development: The government may allocate resources for the development of infrastructure such as buildings, classrooms, and research facilities for IIFT. Faculty Recruitment: IIFT will need to recruit a qualified faculty to provide education and training in foreign trade to students. Great initiative, I liked the way govt is imposing stamp duty to Tesla and apple, to promote manufacturing in India. And at the same time enhancing Indian industry like toy industry.
