Students can be expected to be in uniform ; but not in their thinking. When each child is unique, how can we expect them to master a common syllabus and perform in unison. Flexibility in curriculum, assessment and duration of the course/s is the need of the hour. Education can't be allowed to become an industry but charity. Education's aim can't be jobs but skills and acquisition of knowledge. The present 3 1/2 hour test is the most unscientific way of assessing learning. We need a change.

Examinations, unfortunately in India, test the skill of a student to re-write information or do a check-up of student memory. Things must change. Education must teach each one 'to think' and discover his/her potential to innovate. Teachers come together and rise to stir a movement for qualitative change in education. We have nothing to lose, only our prejudices.

What's the use in writting anything when nobody takes it seriously i 've been trying for so many months on various forums to get connected but it seems being fan of modi is making him too arrogent which is evident in delhi elections. It seems he listen to only good things &crtisism is taboo for him. I feel what is happening now in bihar will eventually result in 2019 loss& he will loose the chance to implement many things as promised during campaign.

There is no need to fear examinations. Do we fear Life ? Each Examination has a syllabus, its parameters are defined. There is no determined syllabus for ‘life’, its course, too, is not known. Success or failure in examinations is no barometer for success or failure in ‘life’. While failure in examinations gives you, yet, another chance, at times “life” does not afford one another chance. If life is uncertain and yet we look forward to another day each day, how can examinations scare us?

India is a land of such well found and ancient cultures.Britishers are long gone but why are we still obsessed with the colonial hangover? The foundation of India, our education system why do we still follow the Britishers way? With such treasure troves of our ancient India in all spheres(Spiritual, Medicine, Science, Mathematics, Yoga, Kalariyapattu etc) why do we desist the children of today from learning this as core curriculum. It's time we re corrected our course & bring due respect

If technology is so advanced that a paper can be conducted all over India through servers and softwares why can't a small improvement be made in it that after completion of the exam the total score earned by the candidate is displayed. Ranking and other things can be done afterward which takes time but score can be displayed as soon as exam is over.

Sir Most important point of decision making is to STOP reservation of seats in ALL professional streams ATLEAST. It should be purely on the basis of MERIT and not on the basis of caste, minority etc. etc. We all believe that every one is EQUAL, then why there is reservation for certain sections of the society. Don't you think by doing this we ourselves are creating sections in the society? One should get a seat if one deserves and that should be decided on the basis of MERIT and not ST/SC etc..
