Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) is such an idea which can really make a huge impact but i have a request to the Prime Minister why not to include all the big Business houses, celebrities and even those who can adopt it . Why not to appeal the people of India that those who are capable to adopt a village they can adopt and build that village.

I think the current government really need to look into Railway seriously. This is one area wherein crores and crores of people are directly related. As of now we have not seen any such steps which signifies that it is under the control of new government. Neither the services nor the any sort of effort is visible.

convert the the entire paper bureaucracy into a e-governance bureaucracy. this will release at least half of the present work force. they can be re-trained and re-deployed in commercially self supporting enterprises.huge fiscal space will be released by this re-deployment for infrastructure work. let us also start re-naming our services to make them appear more development oriented and citizen friendly. for example IAS can be re-named as indian development management service (IDMS).

If the below is not possible, we should not auction the mine (as again the big cos. will only take it), we should give the same on either of options: 1. Lease for 10/20 years so that it can again be auctioned later. 2. Give on contract mining for 10/20 years. Bidders bid for lowest price in which they will mine and deliver the goods. Govt. through MMTC/other options sell the mined goods. In this manner, you do not auction the hen who gives golden eggs, but auction her golden eggs every time.

Natural resources is key to a nation, and how it chooses to utilize it. All companies having control of natural resources make windfall profits eg. Hindustan Zinc, RIL, CIL, Iron ore mining companies, Steel companies having iron ore mines. Either we should not leave them in private hands, or if yes, then equally to all (which is never possible, as the biggies take them). Public companies should not be underestimated eg. CIL, NMDC, ONGC. Either they mine and sell through linkage/e-auction.

The scheme for providing maternity leave is faulty. Any women may be allowed maternity leave with full pay if her husband is unemployed. Incase the husband is employed and drawing more or equal salary pay for the mother should not be given. Crore of poor women are helplessly living and a few women in employed are getting every thing. This must stop.
