Sir, All government buildings(At least new ones) should be asked to get Green Building certification and maintain the same. Government officers should not be allowed to interfere in the Aesthetics of the building and also Green Features.

1) All buildings must have LED lights instead of tube lights. 2) Electricity consumption amount of departments should be deducted from individual employee salary in Govt. or private which itself will take care of all savings. More grade more deduction less grade less deduction. 4) All government office should be asked to decease electricity consumption units by 10-20%. And that saving amount can be given as insentives to the employee of that department for motivation.

Use of solar energy should be made compulsory. All officers/officials working should treat office as their own.Should cultivate habit of putting off lights/fans/AC when not in use.Engineers should plan to build offices utilising natural light, wind to the maximum extent.All bulbs should be LED only. Hybrid wind mills which generate electricity when sunshine is not optimum can be installed. Each cultivating habit of energy saving is most important. Extra lights for show/fancy should be avoided

Why cant we make it compulsery to each building to build a container at each building instead of terrace and connect a small dia pipe such that this water passing through filters to a big underground container for all the building in a specific area. In this way during rainy season lots water collected in this big underground container can be saved.This water can be used for the people in summer. So there will be no water shortage if made compulsory by law for all buildings & houses.

Building materials can be made using wide range of materials if people can explore new ways. Natural materials along with blend of artificial building materials usage in rural India should be encouraged such that not much internal temperature variation exists even at extreme weather conditions and seasonal.

Building should be constructed such that Natural lighting should be utilised(at the same time green house effect through glass panels is minimum)during daytime. Unfortunately, many offices are constructed these days such that they need artificial lights in daytime when it is sunny outside. Lot of construction materials can be made utilizing specific waste materials, there by reducing carbon footprint.

advt is for the people, when nobody is in the road why we are wasting our electric for at least 5 to 6 hour mean 11pm to till morning,& they use heavy halogen`s for brighter light.i think if we can save only this king of electric, we are able to give electric to who is actually needy (our farmers)it can categories for the class of city ABCD for metro light can be off for 12 pm to till orning non metro where people sleep early 10pm to morning.if i have done any mistake plz forgive me.

Honorable PM Ji,i am going to share my view about electric,its all about the hording banner,uni poll, i have seen many city`s delhi mumbai hyderabad lucknow kanpur Varanasi ludhiyana,jalandhar amritsar .in these city hording light`s are on for full knight,that dosen`t matter people are present in road or not. my view is any kind of advt in above source are for visibile for people only when most of the people are sleeping in his/her home so there is no need to blow the light in above advt source
