As the Government of Bharat successfully implemented “One Nation One Subscription” for journals to reach the unreached Students, Research scholars and Faculty of Higher Education Institutes (if possible, please include it for public libraries also). Respected Hon’ble Prime Minister, I hope this message finds you in good health and spirit. Through this letter, I wish to share a concern that many young citizens like me deeply feel — the continued existence of caste-based discrimination and inequality in opportunities. While our Constitution rightly aimed to uplift communities that were historically disadvantaged, in today’s society, we also see many economically weak students from so-called “upper castes” struggling without support or fair chances. In many cases, these students are equally deserving but are left behind simply because the benefits are tied to caste, not to real economic hardship. This system, though originally just, now needs rethinking to suit the modern India we all dream of — one where every student, irrespective of caste, gets opportunities based on merit and financial condition.I humbly request you to consider reviewing our current reservation and welfare system to make it more income-based and inclusive.
