Registration of Births and Deaths in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD), Act 1969 and is done as per the place of occurrence of the event. With a view to simplify the provisions of various sections of the existing RBD Act, 1969 and to make it people friendly, the Government of India has proposed to amend the RBD Act, 1969.

Existing sections of the Act and amendments proposed by the Office of the Registrar General, India (ORGI) are indicated in the first two columns of the proposal respectively.
Ministry of Home Affairs seeks feedback and suggestions along with the justification for the proposed amendments.

Honourable PM sir, please I strongly suggest you to add a law in the bill that no father name can be added in the birth certificate as a middle name.People can add any other middle name according to their belief/religion.Certificate should contain both father&mother name separately.This can be one of the best step to remove patriarchy and will give equal importance to both men&women over their child.Also in every exam forms Govt.must give equal importance to mother&father.Ex-Nagpur University

The death and birth registration portal should be linked with Aadhaar and voters portal. when the death certificate is issued it will automatically be linked to the Aadhar portal locked. a birth certificate is issued with the parent's name may recognize the identity and transparency in the voters portal, and a death certificate is locked the voters portal. if Aadhaar profiles are locked due to death, the bank account.

fake birth certificate is major challenge in India recently in haryana 2 case have been filed for issuing fake birth certificate suggestion 1 . birth certificate should include fingerprints .as new born child to have fingerprints 2. qr code scanner in birth certificate so anybody can scan and check the authentication and verify in any public app like .umang ,digi locker etc and option to complain if found fake certificate so government can easily track from were fake certificate getting

मेरे विचार से, आधार सर्विस सेन्टर नगर के हर स्मशान के check post पर होने चाहिए जहां दिवंगत का आधार कार्ड स्वयंमेव cancel करने का digital solution होने से,वह cancellation शासन,(Revenue etc) police station, Banking services,municipal corporation (पंचायत रेकार्ड्स) सभी को एकसाथ प्रेषित होना चाहिए । लाश के फोटो ( impression s ?)लेने की भी व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए।

When MyGov app staff work so carelessly what can we expect from the government. I keep writing on this app and am now categorized as Change maker5. I received a call first from a lady Vishakha +91 83830 37281 to confirm my seminar participation on 4-12-2021 at India habitat centre, New Delhi, then I got call from Mr.Verma +91 97178 07072 to confirm and then they gave me number of Mr.Abhinav +91 99719 72101 who later told me that my name is dropped. God save our country

W.r.t PENSIONER's LIFE CERTIFICATE : in days like these > would like to suggest to the Govt to make life certificate appearance ONLINE for old people. MAYBE similar to gmeet with bank authorities : on specified date time : maybe can BOOK for the meet with Branch managers / section officers, INSTEAD of going to the BANK for depositing the Life Certificate. In Shillong the centers not functioning if any and then the risk of taking old folks to crowded offices. PLEASE look into easing the process.
