i would change all government official lighting fittings with led fittings , all light pole would be of hybrid lighting system such as solar/wind mill/ electricity, so that when solar is there it will play with solar or with wind or with electricity.

To make my nation energy eff I would promote subsidized solar lights for backward states like rajasthan, west bengal and seven sisters. Right now taking subsidy in this respect is very hard, an online portal should be started. Jai bharat

If I was the Govt. of India, I would replace all the street light with automatic solar functional with daylight extraction and disposal of the same as light at night. I would have utilized all non usable areas such as desert regions or barren land which is not suitable for any of agricultural activities. I would replace all the roads, parking lots, sideways of cities with sustainable solar plates and also pressure cells which convert loads of the vehicles into energy.

Every house hold has E waste like Tubelights and CFLs and batteries. We are residents in Delhi (the Capital of India) but we are NOT aware as to how to dispose off these E waste goods safely, in the ABSENCE of any clear GOVERNMENT POLICY. The GOVT should form Collection centres all over the Country in collaboration with some NGO to Collect these E waste goods and pay an incentive to the public that comes forward to deposit such E waste in order to encourage

there are many places like rooms and bathrooms we enter for just 5 or 10 minute for example we have lost of Government office having a washroom where people uses washroom just for few minutes and goes back to work but forgets to turn off the light in day time there should be a timer based bulb that lights for specific time and cuts power itself when click hit the last second.i always turn off lights when its not accessory . while traveling i also saw 2or3streetlights nearby road tha'ts on 24*7 !

1.I will follow all the measures that will keep the distribution loss at its minimum. 2.I will reward all those power corporations that would generate maximum revenue and punish the defaulter corporations.

I will use all the natural renewable power generation resources.(Water, waste, air and solar) and I will preserve coal.

We can also try magnetic generators . where by using magnets both on stator and rotor and by using the law of repulsion the rotor will keep on rotation constantly and the speed can be varied by adjusting the distance between the stator and rotor. This is the basic idea in picture form can be made on large scale for clean energy
