प्रत्येक स्मार्ट सिटी में अपने स्थान, जनसांख्यिकी, संस्कृति और अन्य कारकों जैसी विशिष्ट सुविधाएं होगीं, वहीं सभी शहरों कि सामान्य समस्याओं के लिए एक ही स्मार्ट समाधान हो सकता है। इस प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से सामान्य समस्याओं के लिए इसी तरह के स्मार्ट और अभिनव समाधानों की पहचान करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। प्रश्न- 1. निम्नलिखित 21 स्मार्ट समाधानों में से, ऐसे 3 समाधान का चयन करें जिसे सभी भारतीय शहरों के लिए लागू किया जाना चाहिए और इसे स्पष्ट करने के लिए एक संक्षिप्त विवरण (अधिकतम 50 शब्द) भी लिखें। 2. ऐसे किसी 'स्मार्ट' सुझाव का वर्णन करें जिसे आपने किसी अन्य शहरों में देखा है (दुनिया में कहीं भी) और जिसे आप अपने शहर में भी देखना चाहते हैं। 'स्मार्ट विचार' का मतलब कम संसाधनों से अधिक कार्य करना है। 3. ऐसे 3 तरीकों का वर्णन करें जो भारतीय शहरों में अमीरों और गरीबों के बीच की खाई को कम कर सके। 4. अपने स्थानीय नगर निगम के बारे में पता 5 आवश्यक तथ्यों की सूची दें, जिसे सभी नागरिकों के लिए उपलब्ध होना चाहिए। प्रविष्टि की समय सीमा • प्रविष्टियों को mygov.in पोर्टल द्वारा शनिवार, 20 जून, 2015 से 23.59 घंटे (11:59) पर ऑनलाइन प्रस्तुत किया जा सकता है। मूल्यांकन प्रविष्टियों का मूल्यांकन निम्नलिखित मानदंडों के आधार पर किया जाएगाः • मत क्षमता (50%) • अभिनव (50%) पुरस्कार प्रत्येक श्रेणी में दो विजेताओं को निम्नलिखित राशि के नकद पुरस्कार के साथ-साथ, स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के लॉन्च पर प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा 25 जून 2015 को विज्ञान भवन, नई दिल्ली में एक प्रशस्ति पत्र से सम्मानित किया जाएगाः • प्रथम पुरस्कार - 40,000 रु. • द्वितीय पुरस्कार - 25,000 रु. विजेता सुझाव को कार्यान्वयन के समाधान के रूप में 100 स्मार्ट शहरों के साथ साझा किया जाएगा तथा पायलट परियोजनाओं के लिए भी इस सुझाव पर विचार किया जाएगा। • इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। • प्रत्येक श्रेणी के लिए प्रतिभागियों (एस) द्वारा प्रस्तुत प्रविष्टियों का मुल्याकंन स्वतंत्र रूप से और योग्यता के आधार पर किया जाएगा। एक से अधिक श्रेणी में शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग के मामले में, एक भागीदार को केवल एक श्रेणी के लिए ही पुरस्कार राशि प्राप्त होगी। • प्रत्येक उत्तर की लंबाई 250 या उससे कम शब्दों में होनी चाहिए। पुरस्कार राशि के नियम एवं शर्तें और विवरण के लिए यहां क्लिक करें

Q2.Medellin metrocable car transport system.this practise may be introduced in Kohima,Nagaland since the town is hilly and traffic congestion is severe.It can be a viable public transit system reducing vehicle count on roads as well as can become a pivotal source of economy by attracting visitors,if the network is extended to mountains around the town.

3 ways to reduce the gap between rich and poor- 1. Increase the equality of opportunity for people based on intelligence,hardwork,character. 2. Reduce the income & wealth gap between rich and poor. 3. Encourage formalization of workers, health insurance, worker benefits and pension in the private sector through long term tax credit schemes for businesses.

Smart Solutions 3.Cities are for citizens.active collection of data on grievances,opinions,experiences and knowledge of public can be tapped through social media and smart apps 17.Issue of traffic congestion is common in most cities.Efficient management of traffic and help save energy,economy,time and improve well being 21.Education degree alone is not sufficient to meet market demands,so skill development centers can bridge the gap and also provide life long learning avenues

1.My solutions are specifically based on the waste & energy management,so my 3 solutions are: point no.6,14 &15. By adopting these measures the cities will be able to setup its own infrastructure & each city will be self reliant in this field. 2.Drainage system as adopted by NETHERLANDS. 3.Low cost quality education for all,Equal low cost medical facilities for all,Low cost housing for all. 4.Better drainage system/waste management/traffic movement,good quality roads,water supply.

Honorable PM N. Modiji, Here is a humble request to make our smart cities better. Water management: We need to have storm drains, i,e drains to trap rain water and not let this rain water enter our drainage system. In the cities, the rain water which falls on the roads is getting into the manholes and causing overflow of manholes. The clean rainwater is getting mixed with sewage and becoming sewage. Also, please stop this British era practice of releasing sewage to fresh water.
