The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, announces “Artha Chitra”, an online national-level poster-making competition to foster financial education and awareness among citizens. As part of the Kushal Niveshak initiative, this poster-making competition offers participants a creative platform to visually depict important concepts of financial literacy—including saving, budgeting, investing, and safeguarding against financial fraud.
Aligned with IEPFA’s vision of empowering citizens with financial knowledge, the competition invites individuals from diverse age groups to contribute innovative ideas that simplify financial awareness for the larger community.
Theme/Topics of the Competition:
1. Saving & Budgeting for the Future
2. Importance of Investment
3. Safeguarding against Financial Fraud
4. Investor Rights & Responsibilities
5. Role of Financial Planning in Everyday Life
Eligibility:
Open to participants across India in the following categories:
1. School Students (13–18 years)
2. College Students/Young Adults (19–25 years)
3. Open Category (26 years & above)
Submission Guidelines:
1. Format: Digital posters or high-quality scanned copies of hand-drawn posters
2. Size: A3 (297 x 420 mm) or equivalent digital resolution (minimum 300 dpi)
3. File Type: JPG or PNG
4. Language: English or Hindi (with a short caption of the poster in either language)
5. Originality: Must be original artwork created solely by the participant; plagiarism will lead to disqualification
6. Submission Platform: Upload the poster file on the MyGov portal along with participant details
7. Description: Include a brief description (max 100 words) explaining the concept of your poster and its relevance to financial literacy
Selection Criteria:
1. Adherence to the submission guidelines
2. Relevance to the theme and clarity of financial message
3. Creativity, originality, and visual impact
4. Ability to engage and educate viewers
5. Artistic skill and composition
6. Connection to IEPFA’s mission of financial literacy for all
Gratification:
1. The top 3 Winners will receive Cash Prizes:
1st Prize – ₹5,000
2nd Prize – ₹3,000
3rd Prize – ₹2,000
