World Oral Health Day (WOHD) is celebrated every year on 20 March. It is an international day to celebrate the benefits of a healthy mouth and to promote worldwide awareness of the issues around oral health and the importance of oral hygiene to looking after everyone old and young.

WOHD 2016 aims to get everyone to recognise the impact their oral health has on overall physical health and wellbeing to help inspire this change, the overall campaign theme is: Healthy mouth. Healthy body.

This year we at Centre for Dental Education & Research, AIIMS, New Delhi (National Centre of Excellence for Implementation of National Oral Health Programme) want to ensure that this poster/slogan contest inspires every citizen of India to promote oral health.

I have designed the poster attached herewith. It is regarding the health promotion under National Oral Health Promotion Programme. I designed the slogan on the poster attached herewith, is my own. 'Healthy Teeth, makes body- Healthy'.

Small Health Center focusing on Home Remedies & Ayurvedic Chikitsa, having all modern treatment equipment, should be open in rural areas. As the cost for such treatment is very low so, it will be feasible for all & general awareness workshops must be conducted at these centers. As tobacco is one of the main reason for mouth related disease so timely tooth bleaching treatment should be provided bcoz we can't completely vanish this ill habits. "Be Aware & Spread Awareness" should be our motto.
