The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), under the aegis of the Ministry of Power in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to participate in the Reel Contest on Energy-Efficient Air Conditioning.

Do you have a cool way to keep your home comfortable and energy-efficient? We want to see it! This summer, let’s inspire India to make smarter choices when it comes to cooling. Whether it's replacing an old AC, setting the temperature right, or promoting energy-efficient habits, your creativity can spark a change.

Get ready to create, inspire, and contribute to India’s energy-efficient future!

How to Participate:
1.Create a short reel or video (up to 60 seconds) showcasing one or more of the following:
(a) How to replace outdated air conditioners with BEE 5-star-rated models
(b) The benefits of maintaining a minimum AC temperature of 24°C
(c) Why it’s smart to choose BEE 5-star-rated ACs for your home or workplace
2. Share it on your social media (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) with the hashtags #24HaiKaafiHai and #5StarAC
3. Don’t forget to tag @beeindiadigital (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) and @bureauofenergyefficiency (YouTube) so we can spot and celebrate your creativity!
4. Share the link of your reel on MyGov. (Participants can paste the link of the videos uploaded on a social media platform in the Word/PDF file).

i. Before & After: Replacing an Old AC with a 5-Star Model
ii. AC at 24°C Challenge - Start a trend showcasing how you feel and comfortable at 24°C.
iii. My Monthly Power Bill After Switching to a 5-Star AC
iv. How I Convinced My Family to Set the AC at 24°C
v. The Story of My Old AC

Submission Format: A portrait-mode MP4 video of a maximum 60 seconds.

Note: Participants must complete all 3 activities — take the pledge, submit a short video for the Reel Making Contest, and participate in the Quiz Competition — to be eligible to win the contest.

Gratification: The Winners of the contest will be rewarded with the following BEE 5 star-rated appliances:
a. 1st Prize – 2 Ton Split AC
b. 2nd Prize – 1.5 Ton AC
c. 3rd Prize – 1 Ton AC
d. Consolation Prize – BLDC Ceiling Fans (10 Nos)
