I am replacing CFL with LEDs in my home. This helps in two ways, first we will contribute to a greener and cleaner environment by using LEDs and the other benefit is that we will save money over the period of time as life of a LED light is much more than CFL. It is just a one time investment.

Encourage use of solar cooker in every household for daily use and reduce traditional fuel consumption thus reducing load of subsidy for gas cylinders on government which can now channelize funds for one time purchase of solar cooker equipment.

First impressions would request all the government appointed electricity supply agencies to please upgrade the supply lines, transformers, etc. Also create strong Phase & Neutral supply. Voltage should stay in the permissable limit. Too high will bam age the electrical app. & too low will enhance the app. to consume more amperes. All this could be rectified by strong grids and supply lines.

I am using led lights in my home and eliminated Incandescent light bulbs. Also encouraging my neighbors to use led lights and CFL bulbs. These bulbs have a longer lifetime and gives more light but uses less energy.

"Renewable energy" highest growth sector for next 40 years, any nation which set's an example to balance its growth with less emission's will only be the next wealthiest country. pls don't waste 35% of DC power produced from solar in converting to AC ,instead use DC appliances for more efficiency. Govt should make a rule to use only green energy in common area of living, street lighting & water motor in agriculture. this will promote renewable industry & prepare us for next phase of '0'emission
