by providing stores like KHADI BHANDAR...HANDICRAFT, also provide subsidies to the peoples interested in taking franchise for these stores. Make a rule to use silk as a uniform material in sectors like AIR HOSTESS, HOTELS & RESTAURANT STAFF. Some government sectors where a dress code is mandatory. Also govt. have to implement Indian Silk Saree as a dress code for the social gathering & all other events.

For Increasing demand We need to focus from 3 points:
1. Buyer-Seller Market for Raw material, Subsidy on prises, new technique for increaing producion with less investment
2. Silk Saree and Kurta will not enough to attract customers for buy Indian Silk, need to stand with international market
like Silk Shirts, office coats, blazers, Tshirts, caps, hats, purse, curtains, seat cover etc
3. Prmotion is very important key of marketing..show like Lakme Fashion week in silk will help definitely

A great item could end off in selves if not marketed properly, So a proper, planned marketing strategy is required & the other thing people would look for is "Brand Image" , So either some big company should came to rescue or engaging a celebrity would a good idea to bring it to everyone attention.

If we want to really succeed in the task of increasing demand of silk product then just go to fundamental level, NIFT colleges should make some projects on indian silk culture bring the silk in realm fashion world what youth wear is inspired by bollywood and celebrities if they can initiate with silk than nothing could be better than this also a world level of promotion and advertisement would be required to make indian silk a big brand.
