Post office Savings account is a non-core activity. Since we have so many nationalized banks, we should discontinue this and let PO focus only on logistics.

National Saving Certificate (NSC): Both NSC and KVP should be made portable. Certificate bought in one Post office should be en-cashable at the other post office. I had bought a NSC certificate at Avenue road Bangalore. Now Avenue road branch is shifted to KR Market area. It had a tough time to locate it and cant realize the certificate in other branch. Will help lot of investors.

Dear Mr PM- I am a year younger to u and admire your energy, commitment and laser like focus. I believe that next 5/10 years are going to be crucial for India bcoz I don’t see anyone else who can really lead India out of the present mess. Though I believe that the adulation of 125 crore Indians all over the globe would not affect you like it has many well meaning leaders in the past, I dread if it does.. Please, don’t change, keep your humility/focus intact for the sake of 100 cr poor Indians.

India has to emulate China in this regard. The quality of raw silk India has to improve and we have to become self sufficient in Silk production. We have to make our silk production higly mechanised anf forign investment may be encouraged in this regard. Anti-dumbing measures be implemented to restrict Chinese imports which are made cheaper by currency manipulation.

The bottleneck in the Indian Silk products are the lapses in the marketing promotions. No Customer Services and the staff in the promotion councils are are not functioning with the target orientation and the with the motto how our India and the peoples with this skills will get benefited. Though, we are having this world class skill of silk manufacturing, due to the lackness of the associated Govnt Bodies, this is in the edge of destruction. With the placement result oriented team,we can achieve

Really sad that only 8686 LPG users out of 15 crore have forgone the meager annual subsidy of Rs 5000 on 12 refills. I hope it’s because of lack of information. Govt should stop subsidy to all IT payers with declared income of Rs 5 lacs, all PSU staff if not done willingly by a certain date and run an info campaign.to induce more people to give up subsidy voluntarily. The impact will not only be savings on subsidy but change of a culture of entitlements.
