There was a plan to give Banking Licence to Postal Department. Given the current state of our Postal Department, it would be a wise decision to give banking licence to Postal Department so that the huge infrastructure and human resource already existing can be better utilised and also a revolution in rural banking can bring in. Hope the govt will take right steps in this direction.

Every state to have multiple centres. They will register all weavers and their bank account numbers.Catalogue their products. These centres will have a common or seperate website supported by the govt with transaction ability.. This will help E marketing. Spread details of these website thru social , regular media. Increase visibility of silk products thru media. It will help all our weavers to earn without middlemen.

Advertisement. Advertisement. Advertisement. Silk mark's credibility should be properly shown in the ads. Better if an international body is formed for evaluation. Its time for saree ads, kirta ads. Every garment have their ads. Why not silk garments. Show it in a similar fashion like the jewellery ads

A good publicity would do the needful both in India as well as abroad. What to include in that to attract more people?
1. encouraging cloth industries with incentives.
2. Include the fashion industry.
3. Promotion through movies by big actors (both Indian and foreign) in big flick movies.
4. Promotion through ads in halls of Cinema and Multiplexes.
5. Promotion through posters on big bill boards of cities, posters on public transport buses, railway stations.
6.Flipkart, Myntra online

We can have winter silk uniform of school students in India & same we can try and promote overseas as well. Also Hospitality industry can use bed sheets & bed covers in Hotels.
some kind of incentive can be offered to those promoting and using silk products.
States having cold weather throughout can use Silk more and more.
