I am in strong favor of this: Atleast couple of people from local area (state->city->sub-city->area->colony type) hierarchy should be maintained and these people should be edcuated infact trained on First-Aid and Disaster Management Activity because in case of emergency a person looks for immediate help and with this i think those trained people can educate others with govt sponsored camps. This can be very beautifully Implemented i even have the complete script to implement this.

Basic precautions to be taken during various natural disasters should be made mandatory part of high school and college curriculum. Also role of various government departments should be taught in this curriculum so that there is no confusion and people can reach the correct departments in time of need

Sir, Training in First Aid must be made mandatory in school and college curriculum. This can play a big role at the time of disasters and can reduce the number of casualties substantially.

Every school and college students must be enrolled in NCC and should be give a proper military grade training for atleast an year and they should be given the intiution to help the needy. if we bring every student under one umbrella then national integration and their need in disaster mitigation can be brought easily. And till then all students should be called for help during disaster times for help in any form.help can include MANAGEMENT OF THE MITIGATION MEASURES, ASSESMENT OF DAMAGE, etc.,.
