Why is India not working faster towards robotics? We should consider robotics for not just automation of production processes but also to help people in later years of their life. Automation of processes in industries should be encouraged. Cities enabled with technology/robotics for old disabled should be considered in the development plan.

Utilize NSDC and Skill Sector Councils better - right now they have become all but dormant, only running a few courses in campuses. These bodies, and NASSCOM, should drive larger changes in the system. For example, NASSCOM should drive a combined skill-based certification on technology skills. It should look at itself as an assessment and certification body, rather than a lobbying body.

Companies should be legally allowed to issue only provisional offers to college grads, wherein their actual employability at work will lead to confirmation of the offer. This will also create the natural drive or pull factor among students to build on employability

Do away with the practice of campus placements. This has created an artificial sense of employability. The companies have got entangled in this practice that now they cannot unshackle themselves. Mandate all companies to conduct recruitment drives only outside college premises. That will in turn drive students to become more employable by any means.

Dear Sir, The employability of students of our institutions is not up to the mark. The problem of this is that they are not getting practical exposure to the work. They have good academic knowledge but no practical skill. So, we should make the learning compartmental 1+1+1+1 model. That is one hour for theory, one hour for practical, one hour for guided class and one hour for online training for all subjects, so that the student get acquainted with all the aspect of learning each subject

First of all, the basic system of grading and selecting individuals on percentile system in all degrees and in all universities must be scrapped. Scrap Competitive mindset in all fields of education and build Competitive skill based mindset amongst individuals which will allow them to think for real world problems. Skill based courses must be created to enhance then usability of skilled people in all trades.

government must make mandatory for engineering students to do internship for a period for 1year and under the guidance of engineering college and public and private sections.this helps students in gaining practical knowledge with respect to subject knowledge. government must also make mandatory for engineering college to have national service schemes ( nss and ncc) in order to make students to choose a part of them and provide their service to nation,this could help in decrease crime rate.

Democratize engineering education for poor students by approving all Open Universities of India to offer it free under "Learn and Earn" scheme in blended mode !
