The INDC aims at promoting clean energy, especially renewable energy, enhancement of energy efficiency, development of less carbon intensive and resilient urban centres, promotion of waste to wealth, safe, smart and sustainable green transportation network, abatement of pollution and India’s efforts to enhance carbon sink through creation of forest and tree cover.

Citizens are invited to share their ideas, questions and inputs on India's role in COP21 and on the following proposals laid down by INDC:

• Sustainable Lifestyles
• Cleaner Economic Development
• Reduce Emission intensity of Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
• Increase the Share of Non Fossil Fuel Based Electricity
• Enhancing Carbon Sink (Forests)
• Adaptation
• Mobilizing Finance
• Technology Transfer and Capacity Building

Selected ideas and names would also be mentioned by the Hon. Minister and other experts during the MyGov Talk.

Firstly ban on all type of tobacco products. Celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali this year. Ban the crackers fully or partially, specially in metro cities because pollution level is very high in Metro cities. Organise a tree Plantation drive this diwali as a green and clean diwali. I request from the people of India for plant a tree instead of buying crackers. Thanks and Best Regards Happy Diwali

The government should devise a series of simple HUMAN POWERED GENERATOR and peripheral devices like MICROWAVES, INDUCTION, INFRARED COOKERS running on these generators! (1) It will save precious wood, jungles, kerosene etc. (2) It will cut the emissions (India can also claim CARBON CREDITS for it). (3) It will enhance MAKE IN INDIA opportunities & rural employment opportunities. (4) It will lead to savings for poor also. NGOs, donations will easily flood for sponsoring these noble initiatives
