प्रत्येक स्मार्ट सिटी में अपने स्थान, जनसांख्यिकी, संस्कृति और अन्य ...
प्रत्येक स्मार्ट सिटी में अपने स्थान, जनसांख्यिकी, संस्कृति और अन्य कारकों जैसी विशिष्ट सुविधाएं होगीं, वहीं सभी शहरों कि सामान्य समस्याओं के लिए एक ही स्मार्ट समाधान हो सकता है। इस प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से सामान्य समस्याओं के लिए इसी तरह के स्मार्ट और अभिनव समाधानों की पहचान करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए।
प्रश्न-
1. निम्नलिखित 21 स्मार्ट समाधानों में से, ऐसे 3 समाधान का चयन करें जिसे सभी भारतीय शहरों के लिए लागू किया जाना चाहिए और इसे स्पष्ट करने के लिए एक संक्षिप्त विवरण (अधिकतम 50 शब्द) भी लिखें।
2. ऐसे किसी 'स्मार्ट' सुझाव का वर्णन करें जिसे आपने किसी अन्य शहरों में देखा है (दुनिया में कहीं भी) और जिसे आप अपने शहर में भी देखना चाहते हैं। 'स्मार्ट विचार' का मतलब कम संसाधनों से अधिक कार्य करना है।
3. ऐसे 3 तरीकों का वर्णन करें जो भारतीय शहरों में अमीरों और गरीबों के बीच की खाई को कम कर सके।
4. अपने स्थानीय नगर निगम के बारे में पता 5 आवश्यक तथ्यों की सूची दें, जिसे सभी नागरिकों के लिए उपलब्ध होना चाहिए।
प्रविष्टि की समय सीमा
• प्रविष्टियों को mygov.in पोर्टल द्वारा शनिवार, 20 जून, 2015 से 23.59 घंटे (11:59) पर ऑनलाइन प्रस्तुत किया जा सकता है।
मूल्यांकन
प्रविष्टियों का मूल्यांकन निम्नलिखित मानदंडों के आधार पर किया जाएगाः
• मत क्षमता (50%)
• अभिनव (50%)
पुरस्कार
प्रत्येक श्रेणी में दो विजेताओं को निम्नलिखित राशि के नकद पुरस्कार के साथ-साथ, स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के लॉन्च पर प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा 25 जून 2015 को विज्ञान भवन, नई दिल्ली में एक प्रशस्ति पत्र से सम्मानित किया जाएगाः
• प्रथम पुरस्कार - 40,000 रु.
• द्वितीय पुरस्कार - 25,000 रु.
विजेता सुझाव को कार्यान्वयन के समाधान के रूप में 100 स्मार्ट शहरों के साथ साझा किया जाएगा तथा पायलट परियोजनाओं के लिए भी इस सुझाव पर विचार किया जाएगा।
• इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए।
• प्रत्येक श्रेणी के लिए प्रतिभागियों (एस) द्वारा प्रस्तुत प्रविष्टियों का मुल्याकंन स्वतंत्र रूप से और योग्यता के आधार पर किया जाएगा। एक से अधिक श्रेणी में शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग के मामले में, एक भागीदार को केवल एक श्रेणी के लिए ही पुरस्कार राशि प्राप्त होगी।
• प्रत्येक उत्तर की लंबाई 250 या उससे कम शब्दों में होनी चाहिए।

Massive Revolution in mobile phone industry should be leveraged and empowered citizens should use their smart hand phones as the eyes and ears of a responsive government. IIT students have developed applications that can be further improved and a common citizen can in real time report every possible incidence of garbage lying uncleared, water pipe leaking, traffic accident, Eve teasing, suspicious objects, so on and so forth. and imagine all this data is automatically geo tagged because of GPS.

All public transport buses should in addition to the internal CCTV cameras, have a front facing camera. This becomes a huge mobile surveillance system that constantly keeps an eye on the roads of the city. Street poles with WiFI hotspots are in a mesh and the video of these cameras can be viewed in central control rooms or later retrieved from archived data. Heavy fines imposed on observed violations will be a huge deterrent and drastically improve public security.

Decongestion solutions that utilise RFID Based solutions can be implemented which will make travelling in earmarked areas at selected times , highly cost prohibitive and compel people to use cost effective public transport. Similarly HOV High Occupancy Vehicles should be provided priority lane to encourage car pooling and use of public transport. Single occupant cars should pay higher toll tax. Registeration costs of cars after the first car , should significantly go up.

The common problem of our cities is two stuff 1. Pollution and 2. Waste management .I humbly suggest the solution for the second issue since it leads to health issues and impression of ugly india.I implemented a idea of "segregation at source" at my home.I put my plastic waste and bio-degradable waste separately and with plastic waste we can make long lasting road..yes believe me a road laid by plastic is excellent in Chennai.we need to just educate the people to segregate the waste and collect

use maximum technology like in buses to much paper is waste in ticket why we don't use our ATM. use maximum govt buses in less cost and in all the places so that they prefer govt buses so there is less traffic in the cities, less traffic less pollution.

Intelligent Traffic Management System, Green&Energy Efficient Buildings and Citizens : Eyes and Ears are three common solutions that must be implemented across all cities. This impact 70-80 % of the total energy consumed and proven global solutions provide up to 30% savings . Which means 21-24 % of the total consumption of energy consumed by the cities can be saved !! The collateral benefits of reduction in carbon footprint, improved air quality, reduced import bill will hugely benefit India.
