Just two.
1. Protect rights of forest-dwellers. They will protect the forest. That will protect precious herbs needed as Ayurvedic medicine, and the balance of our climate ecosystem. For a case study, look up Chitwan National Park - they had a near complete regrowth of the forest by guaranteeing tenureship rights of the indigenous people.
2. No govt interference in land acquisition of private sector - let the privates directly talk to the native people of the land, without guns or coercion.
