One of the biggest reason of air pollution is traffic pollution in metropolitan cities so we can encourage people to use bicycles. Like govt can start rent a bicycle as in London where they have docking stations to park at various places with really good prices and charge vehicles which goes into the congested areas as daily congestion charge to minimise the traffic.

* Using CNG city buses. * All job holders must use this city buses instead of going in individual vehicle which saves fuel as well as reduces environmental pollution * Every industry should plant no of trees which will be equivalent to the CO2 released by them. * Govt should plant big trees like coconut etc along the highway roads from which govt can earn revenue from their products as well as CO2 released on high way will be consumed....some other sugestions are attached with JPG

Till some years ago India was using banana leaves to serve wedding meals and other organic plates and cups made from leaves and fibre of plants. These practices may still be observed in eateries and homes in small towns and villages. Use of organic leaves and plates should be widely advertised and encouraged by the government in uraban centres. This will conserve a lot of water. Besides, the organic plates and cups can be converted into manure and will create jobs for small entrepreneurs.

Green’ has to be eventually broken down to factors affecting each human regardless of creed, gender, wealth etc. And hence the word Sustainability, yet being defined around the world by people looking at it from varying viewpoints. In India of today, there is a unique opportunity to evolve an idea of green that can stand as an example of a sustainable development model perhaps for ‘Third World’ countries from here on.
