I think there must be a low cost toilets bulding project in every engineering college in the syllabus of civil engineering, there are 5672 engineering colleges in india.if each college will make group of 10 civil engineering students then it will take only 2 years to construct 100000 toilets. The fund for construction should be provided by either college or by government, by providing such project in college students also get involved in the Swachh Bharat scheme.

In my opinion green toilets should be brought in to use in cities where it should be maintained by municipal and sanitary dept with the private under the governance of municipal and sanitary dept where the maintenance should be revived and inspected by the end of the day and weekly base and in villages open toileting should be controlled by providing toilets to every home where people who can't offer and for the people who are building house has to get free connection of underground toilets

Micro Toilets: Instead of making a toilet with numerous urinals and flush toilets, there should be 'Micro Toilets' with one or two urinals. Since 'Micro Toilets' will incur lesser cost, a lot of them can be built in busy places like Chandni Chowk of Delhi, which will make them very accessible. Since such urinals will cater to the needs of men only, occasionally flush toilets can be made available in few of these 'Micro Toilets' with a special signage indicating possible use by female population.

1st priority should be for ladies toilet.most important is to educate users of toilets to use toilets and keep it clean.system or proper way to use toilets because most of the users do not know how they can use it properly and keep it clean.then one of them should be trusted with work to educate users and maintain toilets.

we have men power in our country but one good planning team is required first. where to build toilets, where the west material go, which place is best to build the toilet, what facilities we should give them in public toilet,etc. so many things to do and not to do. planning team is required. good management team is required in every field. disciplined management team those who are punctual,honest and intelligent also.

build toilet is a good idea, but maintenance of toilets is a big question in our country. nobody want to use that toilets because of maintenance problem. we should higher some housekeeping agencies for public toilets and set one team above them who will surprisingly visit any public toilet and make inspection of that toilet and rate their work according to cleanliness. one more thing if we want to build toilets in village or any new places.planning is the most important thing.

Make a toilet facilities to every next bus stop to city & villages areas. All NGOs and social group can move every villagers and suggest them to make sanitation and educated them about proper toilet facilities .

for this.. as rightly said by our PM, involve the corporate houses to build and maintain the same, as they maintain parks at various locations. The delhi government have made sulabh toilets and only men go in them.. you know why.. these are night shelters for men and women are scared to go when they see so many men around their toilets..this is human.. my question is.. why are so many men around these toilets. why is no women attended available. what make it a night shelter..this is not correct

The girls toilets did not have a mug, a bucket nor a proper tap. I am sure, the school authorities have all in place in their books and regular purchases are made, where do they go.. into authorities pockets or they are just bills for such items purchased. i strongly recommend a feed back e mail wherein we can report on the progress of this model. This is. the least we can do for women

A voluntary task force should be created who report in with the success ratio of this project. I have personally visited the government schools in delhi and mark my words, the girls toilets had no glass panes and the windows were overlooking the school playground. On contacting the school authorities, the common reply was, what can we do.. which clearly shows their commitment towards their job and society. Why blame them only, the entire system is corrupt.
